Sudoku for the Body™
Sudoku for the Body™ is a memory game for the body. This guided movement experience from Concrete Steppas™ is designed to encourage aging well through listening, remembering, and moving. We are all aging. Caring for how our minds and bodies work together can begin at any age.
A familiar song begins. A step is called. Can you recall the movement and put it into action? Through music, spoken cues, and line dance sequences, participants practice recognizing patterns, remembering what comes next, and coordinating their bodies in response. Like working through a puzzle, attention and recall are part of the experience. Your body becomes part of the answer.
Stepping, reaching, turning, and shifting weight bring different parts of the body into the experience. Our aim is to encourage people to make room for movement in their daily lives and to keep practicing movements that long periods of sitting give them little opportunity to use.
We want to encourage brain health through habits that include physical activity, continued learning, and connection with others. Sudoku for the Body™ brings those practices together in an enjoyable shared experience for adults across generations. You can begin building those habits earlier in life, return to them after a period of inactivity, or start something new today.
